1750hrs, alight TaoYuan Airport w/o delay, so lucky!! After get luggage, we go to buy Pre-paid SIM Card where is on rigth from from customer cervice. I bought 湾大哥大(NTD350/included call value le) (NTD6/min for local) BUT (NTD2/min for asia)
好奇怪为什么国内比国外归的多. I call back TH every ngiht, very cheap.
After we got the card, back to customer service ‘n turn right , go straight to the end, the bus ticket counter will be on your left. Our hostel is “Taipei Ximen Backpacker Hootel” in Ximen. Actually, I can take “Freego” bus 飛狗巴士reach Ximen directly but I hv to buy rail tix for tmr trip at TP St. So, take “Guoguang ” Shuttle bus 國光客運 (1.3hrs /NTD125).
2030hrs, reach Taipei Main Station. We go to check TRA time table for tomorrow Rail to Hualian 花連. Then, take MRT to Ximen 西门 where the Taipei Ximen Backpacker is. For long trip like this, better to buy “Easy Card” 悠游卡(NTD500) included NTD100 of deposit but no worry! cuzz we can get back once refund card. Okey! Now, seems everything’s done, we quickly to catch MRT (under ground) & finally reach hostel around 2100hrs … hungry, tired, & hot tonight!.. Betty gave me the key & bring us to the room in another building (hv to cross & walk around 2kms) This building is quite dark & unsafe unlike main building but I want ensuit room so, .....................
2140hrs, so late now! only Ximen area where is the best for finding food. We straight to “a zhōng miàn xiàn” (NTD45/S,50/L) & back room.
I just remembered I gotta call 舅公 to inform him I reached TW le & we will meet him at Taichung 3/8. Also first, Alex & I will meet up at Ximen 2130hrs but too late now. I gave him a call to cancel while he’s waiting for me .. 很抱歉!
We don’t hv to unpack tonight cuzz we will check out tomorrow morning before going to Hualiand & will back to check in again on 3/6. 麻烦!
